Hello! My name is Sharon Vidan-Kashti, and I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and educator.

I live in Stoke Newington, a lovely and lively neighbourhood in London. I have worked as a freelance graphic designer in some of London's top agencies for the past 15 years and with small businesses, start-ups, and publishing companies. However, I decided to embark on a new adventure during the lockdown. I spent evenings writing and illustrating my children's picture book, "My Heart Is Here and There". I self-published it to experience the entire book lifecycle as an author, designer, illustrator, and publisher. It was tiring, but the reward was so worth it!

My Creative Inspirations:

Every project I take on begins with thoughtful consideration. I draw inspiration from folktales, nature, childhood, dreams, and psychology. My sketchbook is always with me, and I find inspiration in my surroundings. I combine life drawing skills with digital enhancement in Photoshop or Procreate to create textured, layered, and imaginative images with a touch of nostalgia and folklore.

Connecting Through Workshops:

In addition to my projects, I deliver book cover design workshops in schools and cultural centres. Connecting with children and parents and sharing the magic of storytelling and creativity is a pleasure.
